Kisserup International Trade Roots Inc. was founded in 1998 in Nova Scotia, Canada, by CEO Ms. Pernille Fischer Boulter. Named after a Danish town where Pernille grew up, Kisserup is an international consultancy firm with a focus on cross-border trade, research and business development. Kisserup's experience spans over 90 countries and extends to virtually every economic sector. Kisserup's clients range from government agencies, trade and industry associations, and international financial institutions looking to foster business on a global scale for private sector organizations under a cluster approach. Kisserup's focus is on assisting new and pre-existing SMEs seeking to take their business to the next level. Predominantly, Kisserup's projects are most often public procurement, supported by public funds, assigned for capacity building, business development, export promotion and trade. Kisserup has worked with over 6,000 businesses around the world, utilizing a cluster approach. These clusters are usually sector-specific, with a range of 10 to 250 companies participating per project cycle.
