The Kobe International Center for Cooperation and Communication (KIC) was established by Kobe City to further develop Kobe into an international city. KIC provides international cooperation for addressing problems faced by other countries (primarily developing countries), helps citizens to communicate internationally, strives to build a society where people of diverse cultures can live in harmony, assists international students, and conducts other activities, all for the purpose of internationalizing the region and thereby contributing to global peace and prosperity.
Objectives
In order to further develop Kobe as an international city, they collaborate internationally to resolve issues faced by developing countries and stimulate international cultural exchange while promoting the coexistence of different cultures. By supporting international students, they contribute to global peace and prosperity.
