Established in 2003 as the successor to Kommunalkredit Austria AG's former Department for the Management of Trust Funds, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has set itself the goal of making a sustainable contribution to environmental, economic and social developments through the management of support programmes and targeted consulting activities.
As a niche service provider, we specialise in the development, implementation and management of support programmes, mostly aimed at environmental protection and the fight against climate change. Moreover, we also operate in the international carbon market.
Based on our wealth of know-how, we have continuously increased the range of our consulting activities for national and regional authorities as well as international organisations and financial institutions. Our special focus is on consulting services within the framework of development cooperation, mainly in the EU candidate countries in South-Eastern and Central Europe.

Support scheme and programme management
For many years, Kommunalkredit Public Consulting has been working in close partnership with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Environment and Water Management. Since 1993, KPC has managed the environmental support schemes of the Federal Government, with a special focus on the remediation of contaminated sites, water management and support for environmental protection measures implemented by private enterprises. The management of climate, energy and mobility support schemes for the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund and some of the Austrian provinces completes the range of activities.
