Founded in 2002 as Korea's first public foundation aiming to conserving the environment, Korea Green Foundation has played a leading role in building a cooperative network between the government, corporations, civic organizations, and individuals in order to find solutions for preserving the environment.
Korea Green Foundation focuses on educational and cultural programs to raise the public’s awareness of the urgent environmental issues. For that purpose, we annually hold Green Film Festival in Seoul to introduce various environment-related films of the world, publish books dealing with environment issues, organize forums and educational programs for children to adults, and run Eco Shop with eco-friendly products. In addition, we strive to provide grants and fellowship programs to support the environmental activists and civil society organizations in Asia.
