The Kroschke Children's Foundation has been working for chronically ill and disabled children since 1993 and supports initiatives that prevent the development of diseases - committed, unbureaucratic, open to new ideas and with a big heart for the weakest in their society. A particular focus of the foundation's work is the artistic promotion of children and young people who need more support than others physically, mentally or emotionally. Projects in the fields of research, integration and inclusion, therapy, exercise and nutrition are supported as well as child protection and early aid.
For several years now, the foundation has been concentrating its activities on northern Germany, with regional focus on Braunschweiger Land and Hamburg. The independent, non-profit children's foundation was founded by entrepreneurs Klaus Kroschke from Braunschweig and Christoph Kroschke from Ahrensburg. Both are active on the foundation's board of directors and create a reliable basis for the foundation's work with their annual donations in the six-figure range.
