Through its creation in 1991, the foundation Krousar Thmey (New Family) has been the foremost Cambodian organization assisting underprivileged children. Three distinct entities state approved in France and in Switzerland, and recognized charity in United Kingdom, seek to fundraising and inform about Krousar Thmey activities in Cambodia. All the projects are run by Cambodians: 380 of them work daily.
The Cambodian foundation offers a range of interconnected programs and projects covering the different stages of the life of more than 2,500 children who enter its structures. It thus offers these children education, personal support and professional accompaniment adapted to their needs, while respecting their traditions and their beliefs. As part of a sustainable action, Krousar Thmey ensures that the help provided does not create any privilege, no assistance, or disparity with those around him.
