Laboratorios ABD Ltda., Begins its activities with the implementation of the Good Manufacturing Practices (BPM) system with which it updates and renews machinery, infrastructure and personnel to comply with the current Bolivian standard; This family business aims to develop, produce and market high quality and affordable pharmaceutical products. Being the first production line the Large Volume Parenteral Solutions.
In 2008, the small volume parenteral solutions plant was implemented, whose main purpose is the production of electrolyte delivery solutions, water for injection and anti-inflammatory pain relievers, which have a presentation of first-class glass ampoules.
The development of their company and the requirement in Public Health of their population in 2014 makes it possible to implement a production line of hemodialysis solutions, which quickly become one more alternative for the Bolivian population.
In 2016, Laboratorios ABD Ltda. As a consequence of the updates of the professional staff, the demands on the safety of production of parenteral solutions and the commitment of the board of directors, the Large Volume Parenteral Solutions plant was installed using the Blow, Fill and Seal system by its acronym in English BFS (Blow Fill Seal), thus obtaining a product that is easy to handle in the nursing area and safely manufactured.
In 2017, Laboratorios ABD Ltda. Became the first drug manufacturer in Bolivia to launch plastic ampoules with BFS technology with its Twist Off opening system and universal Luer lock connection for syringes, with a productive capacity that allows access to the medicine safely and immediately.
The year 2018 marks the beginning of the expansion of the area for the manufacture of Hemodialysis Solutions, which has fully automated manufacturing machinery and a productive capacity designed according to the Bolivian market requirement, thus guaranteeing a response in stock and immediate delivery service for their clients.
