Eczane Pharma S.A. Laboratory was founded in 1991 by the Dr. Carlos Alberto Fernández.

At that time the laboratory was composed of only 10 employees and a portfolio of low complexity pharmaceutical products - antiseptics and activated carbon. Its suppliers were mainly government entities.
