Founded in 1994 by President & CEO Avinash Rachmale, Lakeshore began as an environmental services company, providing services such as Phase I/II environmental site assessments, underground storage tank removals, asbestos/hazardous waste remediation and soil and water sampling. The company has since expanded to provide complete general construction and environmental services throughout the United States and across the globe. Revenues have grown from $2 million to more than $100 million annually.
Lakeshore is known by its clients for innovative engineering solutions, attention to detail, adherence to budget and schedule constraints, business integrity and close client communications. We successfully complete every project we undertake.
In addition to serving our clients, we also take seriously our obligation to serve as a responsible corporate citizen and to support the community that has supported our growth. To this end we have established the Lakeshore Economic Coalition (LEC), a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing socio-economic assistance to residents of Detroit’s North End, Highland Park and Hamtramck. Some of LEC’s programs include Employability Skills Training, fundraising for the Detroit Receiving Hospital Rosa Parks Geriatric Center, food and clothing giveaways and an awards event recognizing others who demonstrate an exemplary commitment to Detroit’s communities and citizens.
A minority-owned firm, Lakeshore employs more than 200 men and women of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Oil & Gas Services
Upstream. Services to support the search for and the recovery and production of crude oil and natural gas are critical to the success of petroleum producing enterprises. Laying the groundwork to transport machinery and equipment, providing comfortable living accommodations for staff, and supplying utilities across remote landscapes requires a contractor with experience working in remote regions and the ability to work under an accelerated schedule.
Downstream. The distribution of natural gas and products derived from crude oil requires the construction of a pipeline infrastructure. LTC has experience in the construction of pipelines in austere environments and through varying topography. Our ability to work with local subcontractors and adhere to environmental regulations has established LTC as a contractor of choice for pipeline installations and production facilities.
