Landaid Charitable Trust
About

LandAid works to improve the lives of children and young people in the UK who experience disadvantage due to their economic or social circumstances.

As a charitable foundation supported by the property industry, LandAid finds ways to apply the generosity and expertise of the industry to this cause.

Mission statement

Every year, thousands of young people in the UK find themselves homeless.

It’s a problem that they are here to tackle.

It brings the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.

Through a unique network of corporate partners, it invests funding and expertise where they can achieve lasting impact.

Together they can end youth homelessness.

Aims

It aims to:

  • Prevent young people becoming homeless, through targeted work with those most at risk
  • Protect young people who are homeless, particularly those who are on the streets and in immediate danger
  • Provide accommodation, support and training for those who have been homeless
  • Profile youth homelessness within the property industry, especially where they can offer young people a platform to have their voices heard

It plans to achieve these goals by working alongside corporate and charity partners, other funders and local authorities, and in line with its funding guidelines and values.
