Latvian Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (LLMZA)
The Latvian Academy of Agriculture and Forestry (LLMZA) has a non-governmental scientific association (association) that unites scientists from agriculture, veterinary medicine, food, agronomy engineering, forest and wood processing on a voluntary basis. LLMZA is registered in the register of scientific institutions.
Since 2006, a joint letter of intent is signed between LLMZA, LAS LMZN and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia.
Since 2006 LLMZA has participated in the following projects:
2010 - 2011, Evaluation Study “Development of Results of Active Employment Measure“ Training for Acquisition and Maintenance of Work Skills if Employer is Local Government ”” ESF Project “Provision of Work Practice Measures for Acquisition and Maintenance of Work Skills in Municipalities”, Nr. 1DP / 220.127.116.11.0 / 09 / IPIA / NVA / 001.
The following projects are being implemented in cooperation with the Latvian Academy of Sciences, Department of Agriculture and Forestry (LAS LMZN):
2011 - 2013, European Regional Development Fund project Capacity building of Latvian Academy of Sciences and Latvian Academy of Agriculture and Forestry and development of international project applications, Nr. 2010/0294 / 2DP / 18.104.22.168.0 / 10 / APIA / VIAA / 009.
2007 - 2008, project funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, the use of Forsait specialist networks to support rural policy and the improvement of agricultural science research and equipment database.
2006, Ministry of Agriculture funded project Participation in EU Network for Development of Agricultural Research Strategy with Foresight Method. See more
