LAPG is a membership organisation supporting and representing legal aid practitioners across England and Wales. Their members are solicitors, barristers, cost lawyers, policy and campaigning orgnisations and a range of others with an interest in legal aid and access to justice. They are a statutory consultation body with the Ministry of Justice on all legal aid operational and policy issues and, along with Young Legal Aid Lawyers, they provide the secretariat support for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Legal Aid.
