Logum Logística SA is the company responsible for the construction and operation of the Ethanol Logistics System (logistics, loading, unloading, handling and storage, operation of ports and land terminals and waterways) that will involve multimodal transportation: pipelines, waterways (barges), highways (tank trucks) and cabotage (ships). 

Logum Logística SA was created on March 1, 2011 to be responsible for the implementation of this comprehensive and integrated multimodal Logistics System for the transportation and storage of ethanol. The new company is the result of the integration of the ethanol logistics projects of Uniduto, CentroSul and PMCC.
The first phase of the LOGUM pipeline system began operations in August 2013 with the inauguration of the Logum Terminal in Ribeirão Preto (the largest ethanol collecting center in the country), transferring fuel from Distributors and Producers from Ribeirão Preto to Paulínia through a polduction of 207 km of extension. Subsequently, the second stretch of 143 km in length between Uberaba and Ribeirão Preto started operating in April / 15, further expanding the coverage area of ​​the Logum System.
 
With these segments they are already operating transfers of anhydrous and hydrated ethanol with origins in all the States of Central West, Minas Gerais and São Paulo, serving the consumer market of the Regions of Campinas, Greater São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, besides offering the option of the cabotage operation for the North and Northeast Regions, as well as export operations through the ship loading service at the Ilha D'água port terminal.
The project, when completed, will have sufficient installed capacity to meet the growing demand for ethanol transportation, through an environmentally clean and sustainable system, and generating more than 10 thousand direct and indirect jobs.
