(LDC) is a global merchant and processor of agricultural goods, with a diversified portfolio covering the entire value chain, from origination to distribution. In addition to sourcing agricultural goods, they increasingly transform crops into finished products. This means that their end-consumers can be confident that the food they eat, and the products they use every day, are produced fairly and sustainably. 

For almost 170 years, they have sourced agricultural products where they are grown, and transported and transformed them for customers and consumers around the world, working with a wide range of trusted partners – from smallholder farmers to global organizations.

They opened their Singapore office in 1993. Today, they employ more than 1,000 people in their plants and offices throughout South & Southeast Asia, a region they increasingly regard as a vital market for LDC.
