The M.A. Consulting Group is a regional organisation providing consulting services in economics, finance and management, comprising of two companies; Mwaniki Associates Limited and Agriconsult Limited incorporated in Kenya in 1983 and 1984 respectively.
The staff is comprised of a core group of in-house consultants who are available for an assignment depending upon the area of expertise needed. In addition, the Group counts among its associates over 250 professionals who are highly qualified in their areas of specialisation.

M.A. Consulting Group has experience in Agriculture and Agribusiness Development, Environmental Impact Assessment and the following areas:
Economic Policy Analysis
Economic policy reviews aimed at improving the growth rates of manufacturing and agricultural sectors, for example, the linkages between agricultural inputs and the manufacturing sector. The Group also specialises in the analysis of regional trade and investment policies.
Micro and Small Enterprise Development
The Group provides consulting services in a number of areas aimed at stimulating the growth and development of small enterprises including policy and sector analysis, institutional development, financial systems development, monitoring and evaluation systems and management training.
Corporate Services/Private Sector Development
The Group advises on strategies for enhancing and supporting the role of the private sector in economic growth. Areas of analysis include national investment policies, privatisation strategies, money and capital markets development, price and market liberalisation, and macroeconomic policies.
Rural Development
Technical assistance to projects on improving rural incomes, employment, and production. The Group has supported work on rural road infrastructure, water supply and the development of arid and semi-arid areas.
Institutional Development, Monitoring And Evaluation
The Group assesses the institutional frameworks that service the growth of the agricultural and manufacturing sectors, and develops new initiatives to strengthen existing institutions or to create new ones.(Completed/Ongoing Projects)
Public Enterprise Reform
The Group advises on the restructuring, commercialization and divestiture of public enterprises in agriculture, industry and infrastructure. Detailed technical, financial and legal analysis is undertaken to develop a menu of realistic and practical options on the most appropriate strategies for reform.
