Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM)

The Macedonian Institute for Media (MIM) is a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization founded in 2001 by the Danish School of Journalism, USAID / Irex Pro Media and the Macedonian Press Center. In its further activities, the Institute has developed into one of the most massive media platforms in Macedonia. There is almost no media in the country with which MIM has not achieved professional cooperation. MIM enables the media and journalists easy and free access to media literature, media research and analysis, the most modern resources for professional upgrading and education support for their research, as well as opportunities for joint production or research activities. The Institute is the founder of the School of Journalism and Public Relations, Vision: MIM is committed to building a democratic society dominated by professional media, transparent and accountable institutions and the civil sector, which provides citizens with sufficient credible information so that they can make an informed choice on all issues relevant to their life and society.
