The office was founded by Hildebrand Machleidt in 1988 as an office for urban planning and has been run since 2012 by Thomas Proppe, Carsten Maerz, Stefanie Kirchner and Benjamin Wille. As a planning office, whose range of services includes all levels of urban design, urban development and urban planning as well as the control of a wide variety of planning processes and competitions, they operate successfully throughout Berlin throughout Berlin. They work in an interdisciplinary manner and cooperate with architects, landscape planners, traffic planners, urban economists and energy planners in relation to topics and projects. The aim is to solve every urban development task in a planning-functional as well as in a design-spatial sense.
