Magdeburger Verkehrsbetriebe (MVB for short ) is a local transport company in Magdeburg . It operates a 138-kilometer track network, on which ten tram lines and 14 city ​​bus lines ( two tram lines and seven night bus lines for night traffic) operate . In January 2022, the company deployed 108 trams (including 13 sidecars) and 71 buses.

The company has three depots (tram: north , south -east ; bus: Kroatenwuhne). There is also a main tram workshop in Brückfeld and a historic tram depot in Sudenburg .
