- open-entry training programme with 26 courses of one to two weeks
- tailor-made training which is well suited to specific needs of the client;
- consultancies and process facilitation.
These three types of services go well together and reinforce each other. CaBESA is our package combining participation in open entry courses, tailor-made training, on-the job coaching and advice to strengthen the capacity of organisations.
Our approach in consultancy is informed by participatory and people-centred learning methodologies in which we the consultants as outsiders are facilitators and client are the actors and analysts. We, however, ensure that the client understands and is able to play the actor/analyst role. Our training approach is one of experiential learning based on the Adult Learning Cycle and we aim at practical and applicable learning, rather than academic teaching.
MDF-ESA clients represent a wide variety of organizations working in international co-operation and development. They include non-governmental and civil society organisations, government entities, private sector companies, knowledge and research institutes, and donor organisations.
