Marie Frechon Photographic Design is a communications firm specializing in strategic communications for peace and development. Our focus is creating effective visual solutions to support our client's communication strategies. The firm's principal, Marie Frechon, has 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, including several United Nations organizations. As a designer, her experience ranges from nationwide public information campaigns in conflict/post-conflict zones to corporate annual reports. As a photographer, she has been on the front lines of war/conflict zones, covering UN field work, including high profile dignitary and celebrity press coverage.

International assignments have included UN peacekeeping and electoral missions, as well as UN development projects in several conflict zones and developing countries. Communication projects have included DDR reform programs, electoral voter education and public information campaigns, gender-based violence prevention, human rights protection advocacy, humanitarian relief efforts and donor funding presentation kits.

Marie Frechon’s associates include illustrators, designers and copywriters. These specialists are often called upon to collaborate on large projects.
