Market Solutions LLC was founded by Mark Newman in 1988 as the Food Industry and Agribusiness Consulting Practice of Abt Associates Inc., headquartered in Cambridge, MA and one of the largest research, consulting and evaluation firms in the United States and worldwide.  In 1996, Abt Associates decided to focus its efforts in food and agriculture on public sector projects, and Market Solutions LLC became an independent company with Mark as President.

Over almost twenty years they have satisfied corporate, trade association and government clients with our commitment to providing the methodologies and approaches of large firms, coupled with the commitment of senior staff time and expertise throughout assignments that is possible in a smaller firm that specializes in food and agriculture related projects and has global reach to meet client needs.

Many of the Market Solutions LLC staff, consultants and international partners who work on assignments together today have been working together for more than a decade.
