About

Medtronic LABS is a health systems innovator with the mission to expand access to healthcare for underserved people across the world. We design and implement tech-powered healthcare delivery models with Ministries of Health that strengthen and extend health systems into local communities to deliver measurable population health outcomes. We are an independent non-profit (501c3) organization with entities and programs in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and India. To date, we have reached over 1M patients, improved outcomes for over 50,000 patients, and trained over 3,000 health workers. We started with hypertension and diabetes in 2013 and recently expanded our work to address any condition requiring longitudinal management, including TB, HIV, mental health, and pregnancy.
