Their staff is provided with the required personal protective equipment required for each job and MEK ensures that equipment is properly worn at all times at each site and used for the intended purpose.
Regular sessions are held by their staff on their premises to discuss “near miss” incidences and to formulate steps to prevent these incidences from occurring in the future. This entails accessing the impacts of their activities and refining theirprocedures and providing additional training when required.

Hydrogeological and GeoEnvrionmental Services - Their professional services range from the selection of prospective water well sites resulting in the construction of high-capacity municipal and industrial water wells in different hydrogeological terrains through piped-water system designs and construction straight through to the management and operation of these facilities.
Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Relief Services - Their staff have been engaged in humanitarian assistance and emergency relief interventions in the developing countries for more than 25 years now. Their focus has been mainly in the provision of clean water, mostly through the development of groundwater and surface water resources and the promotions of good hygiene and environmental sanitation practices in rural and peri-urban communities and refugee camps.
Research - Groundwater resources remain a major source of water supply particularly in sub-Sahara Africa, the Caribbean and South East Asia. MEK has teamed out with a number of tertiary and research institutions to conduct top-notch research abroad that will improve the sustainable management of these invaluable resources. MEK and its associates are particularly interested in conducting research in the broad area of groundwater resource development and sustainable management and will work with government and research institutions, private entities and communities in Canada and abroad to find solutions that will improve the sustainable management of these water resources.
