Miami Bayside Foundation (MBF) is a nonprofit organization designed to advance economic development in the City of Miami through the support of minority businesses and education. MBF seeks to do this through the creation and administration of loan programs for minority businesses, through the creation of programs and educational scholarships for minorities, and by providing technical assistance to minority-owned businesses
MBF has awarded more than 550 scholarships to City of Miami minority students attending Miami Dade College, Florida International University, Florida Memorial University, Miami Dade Public High Schools and D.A. Dorsey, George T. Baker Aviation, and Lindsey Hopkins Technical Colleges. It also awarded more than 50 loans to minority-owned businesses that have helped create more than 250 jobs in the City of Miami, and created partnerships that have helped train more than 200 City of Miami minority business owners.
