The Ministry aims to study, implement and manage all operations directly or indirectly related to the improvement or development of housing in Burundi.

In all its operations, the Ministry gives priority to activities that meet the criteria of profitability.

To this end, the Ministry carries out operations relating to:

- Purchase, development, subdivision of land and construction of residential buildings;

- Ordinary rental, hire purchase, cash or installment sale of such land and / or immovables;

- The production, purchase and sale of building materials and all other operations related to the promotion of housing and property management.

The registered office of the Ministry is established in Bujumbura.
