OBJECTIVE
Leading the transformation processes in the agricultural sector in a coordinated, integrated and comprehensive manner through the integration of the entire thought and energy of the organization towards achieving the goals of the Third National Agricultural Policy (NDP 3)

FUNCTION
Core Function 1
Formulate and design agricultural policies, strategies and programs

Core Function 2
Evaluate and coordinate implementation of Agricultural Development projects / programs

Core Function 3
Provide economic analysis services including collecting, analyzing and retaining agricultural information / data

Core Function 4
Design and implement publicity and consultancy services and introduce agricultural management information systems

Core Function 5
Ensure the inclusion of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry in international programs

Core Function 6
Serves as a one-stop agency for the private sector to seek advice and expertise in the agricultural sector
