About

Initiative of the institutional development of the implementation of Agricultural Development Program in Nepal, Vikram Samvat, started in 1978 in the Charikar district. After the formation of the Agricultural Council in 1991, the agricultural performance form of Singharbarbar complex was established in the year 1982. In the country, agriculture activities opened up in the country and activities like surveying have been added. 1 99 99 Veterinary Hospital was established in Tripuraeshwar in 8 years. In the same year the canal branch was also established. In 2000, sheep farming opened at the Kolkata of Chitrang of Makwanpur and Kulni of Nuwakot. Agricultural research work also started in 2003 with the standing of Parwanani Central Experimental and Research Farm. After the change of B.Sc., various activities from the Agriculture Council began to be audited. Based on this, the B.Sc. In 2008, the Agriculture Department was dissolved and the Department of Agriculture was living as the highest body of that time. Secretariat of the Instant Agriculture Council was appointed to the Directorate of Agriculture Department. In 2010, there were five sections erected in agriculture department in Agrronomy, Horticulture, Private and Dairy, Agriculture Engineering and Frieseries (except Visitorial). According to those sections, different programs of agricultural development started to be implemented. B.C. Co - operative department stood up in the year 2010. This year the agricultural school was established. Canal branch expanded as a canal department in the year 2011. Sanctuary established in the year 2007, Parvanipur farming was transformed into a multipurpose farming station. Viktorpur Horticultural Center and Godavari Fisheries Development Center were established in the year 1999. 

The Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture, and Irrigation, was included in the Ministry of Agriculture in 2030 years. Ministry of Agriculture remained as Ministry of Agriculture after the responsibility of irrigation and food arrangements, along with the cabinet restructuring of the Ministry of Water Resources and respect to the Ministry of Water Resources respectively, respectively. In 2047/48, with the idea of promoting cooperative movement effectively, Shared Development Department program was started under the Ministry of Agriculture. In this case, Since the Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operative Ministry had been named 2055/56, the Ministry of Agriculture has been named Ministry of Agriculture Development after the government decided to separate the Cooperative Department from the ministry as per the decision of the Government of Nepal (CC) on December 20. Meanwhile, after the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture Development, according to the decision of the Nepal government (Council of Ministers) on December 20, the name of the Ministry of Agriculture Development is being formed by the Department of Animal Husbandry, after the formation of new Animal Development Development Department, the concerned bodies related to animal service are not within the work area of this ministry.

The aim of developing and implementing the policy of agriculture development as per the requirement and potential of the country is to target the Ministry's goal of commercial and competitive agricultural and high economic growth by contributing to food security and poverty prevention.
