The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal and Fisheries Resources (MARAH) is responsible for overseeing agricultural, pastoral, and fisheries development in the country. It ensures food security, animal health, and the sustainable management of natural and land resources. MARAH also provides training and support to sector stakeholders, promotes the modernization of agricultural and livestock value chains, and advances climate resilience and research initiatives. In addition, the ministry is tasked with implementing health and regulatory controls across its areas of mandate.
