The Ministry will provide effective and efficient commercial, labour and immigration services that will give Solomon Islanders more opportunities to actively engage in activities that will enable them to improve and sustain their livelihoods. They believe that in order to serve their clients well, we must uphold the values of this organization that advocate good governance, transparency and accountability. Amongst other things, they will ensure that the limited financial resources that they have must be carefully expended on areas that will enhance the capacity of the Ministry to effectively and efficiently deliver the required services. It is their commitment to recruit, train and retain experienced, qualified and committed officers and to equip them with the required technologies that will assist them in their official work. Although human resources may be an issue now, their current workforce is competently serving and providing a friendly environment to our day to day clients.
