The Minister of Development of the Digital Economy and Postal Services ensures the implementation and monitoring of the government’s policy on the development of the digital economy and postal services. In this capacity and in conjunction with the relevant ministerial departments, it is responsible, among other things, for the development of electronic communications infrastructure, support, promotion of the use of ICT, development of online services and local content, development of a local ICT-based industry, as well as the development of the postal sector.
