The Ministry is committed to establishing and enforcing an education system that is guided by the law, and is based on quality, accessible and equitable education services.

That the Ministry provides an equitable education system, which enables all students to receive free basic education and quality, compulsory education. This is followed by the opportunity to continue one's education for the rest of one's life, to enhance one's individuality, to contribute to the development of Somali culture, to develop socio-economics and to compete with the rest of the world.
