INSTITUTIONAL MISSION

The Ministry of Environment and Water in the framework of the Economic and Social Development Plan, promotes equitable development, reciprocal and in harmony with Mother Earth, through the integral management of water resources, access to drinking water and sanitation, irrigation for food security, as well as the integral management of the environment and life systems, for Living Well.

INSTITUTIONAL VISION TO 2020

By 2020, the Ministry of Environment and Water, institutionally strengthened, within the framework of the National Economic and Social Development Plan, manages in a comprehensive and sustainable manner the water and environmental resources in life systems, developing, disseminating and respecting the rights of Mother Earth has guaranteed conditions for the Living Well of Bolivians and Bolivians.

INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES

SO - 1: Promote the universalization of drinking water and sanitation services in urban and rural areas, in a concurrent and participatory manner.

SO - 2: Promote models of territorial development through integrated management of water resources and integrated management of watersheds to contribute to food security through storage systems and efficient use of water.

SO - 3: Promote the management of environmental quality and management of the components of mother earth for integral territorial development in Harmony with Mother Earth.

SO - 4: Implement transparent public management with ethical, competent and committed public servants
