The Ministry of Health (hereinafter - the Ministry) is the central body of executive power, pursuing public policy and exercising governance in the field of public health in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry is guided by the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, laws of the Kyrgyz Republic, decrees and orders of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, decrees and orders of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, other normative legal acts and these Regulations. 

The Ministry is a legal entity with its own name in the state and official languages, has a seal with the State Emblem of the Kyrgyz Republic and the accounts in the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
