Ordinance n ° 82/027 establishing the organization and the organic framework of the Ministries of the Government, reproduces in its Annex IV, Table XVII, the organic framework and the overall attributions of our Ministry. The essential mission assigned to this Ministry is to apply the policy of the Government in the field of Higher and University Education. To this end, it prepares draft laws and ordinances relating in particular to:

• Programs of different courses concerned;
• The conditions for collation of academic and scientific degrees and degrees;
• The equivalences to be established between foreign diplomas and titles with those of Higher Education etc.
