The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology promotes access, effective use and massive appropriation of ICT, through policies and programs to improve the quality of life of every Colombian and increase sustainable development.

In 2018, will be prepared to meet the challenges of the digital economy and will have positioned the country as a leader in the development of social applications and digital content.

It will contribute to social and economic development, integral development of the citizens and improving their quality of life through research, promotion and appropriation of the use of new technologies and the implementation of an effective organizational model.
