The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development is the central specialized body, which promotes state policy in the field of infrastructure and regional development and operates in accordance with the Constitution and Laws of the Republic of Moldova, Parliamentary Decisions, Acts of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Government Decisions and Orders, as well as other normative acts.

- Development and enhancement of accessibility to fixed and mobile telephony, high speed internet and related services;
- Enhancement of access to digital terrestrial TV and radio broadcasting services

- Development of railway transport;
- Development of air transport;
- Development of waterborne transport;
- Development of road transport and road infrastructure.
CONSTRUCTION
- Development of the field of land use planning and urbanism;
- Ensuring quality assurance system in construction;
- Managing and ensuring access to safe, accessible and connected to utilities modern housing.
ENERGETICS
- Development of the power industry sector;
- Development of the thermal energy sector;
- Development of the natural gas and petroleum products sector;
- Promoting energy efficiency and use of renewable energy sources.
REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INFRASTRUCTURE
- Development of the legal framework;
