Article one: The Ministry of National Education draws up and implements, within the framework of the laws and regulations in force, government policy in the field of preschool, basic and secondary education, BTS training and preparatory classes for the Grandes Ecoles, and ensures, within the limits of its powers, State control over private school education.
It is also responsible for developing the Government's policy on education for all for the benefit of children who have not attended school or who have dropped out of school.
Article 2: The Ministry of National Education is responsible for overseeing the organization of its administrative structures and the distribution of the resources made available to it, taking into account national priorities and objectives.
