Since 2012, the Ministry of Primary Education, Literacy, Promotion of National Languages ​​and Civic Education has undertaken the implementation of its Master Plan for Information and Telecommunication Systems (SDIT) . This SDIT represents an important step in the process of modernizing the MEP / A / PLN / EC and will allow the introduction of New Information and Communication Technologies for the improvement of its management. The main strategic development axes retained during the first phase are as follows:

• Overhaul of applications concerning human resources management, in order to ensure better monitoring, in particular with regard to contract workers, and the management of financial affairs in order to be able to apply budgetary decentralization measures and better understand local equipment and infrastructure;
• Organization of resources and skills in information processing and telecommunications so that the ministry gradually becomes master of its IT developments;
• Progressive constitution of real means of communication between all the departments of the Ministry in order to guarantee a better use and reliability of information;
• Coordinated development of information processing in regional directorates in support of the decentralization policy for better use of information and better management;
