Ministry Mandate:

The mandate of the Ministry is to manage, build and rehabilitate government buildings and infrastructures of the country in an effective and efficient way.

Ministry of Public Works has always been the custodian authority of all but not limited, infrastructures, buildings, bridges, highways and roads, land plots and spaces etc owned by the central and regional governments.

Delivery and support of services, and where necessary, regulate of any entity or individuals having a business-related private matter with the Ministry.

The Ministry of public works, Reconstruction & Housing has a pivotal environment for high performance both for the public and private sectors in the Federal Republic of Somalia.

This critical role requires a results orientation in program design and implementation.
