In order to provide services to citizens of Citizen Security and Peaceful Social Coexistence, the Ministry of the Interior has considered as the values that allow transmitting the identity, commitment and codes of behavior of officials and employees to the following:

Service: Providing information and timely attention in a friendly, effective and efficient way to people who need our help and collaboration.
Commitment: Act with willingness and prompt attention in a friendly, effective and efficient way to the people who need our help and collaboration.
Guarantee citizen security and peaceful social coexistence in the framework of respect for fundamental rights, democracy and citizen participation with a comprehensive vision that places the human being in its diversity as the central subject to achieve Good Living.
To be the governing institution and coexecuting agency of the comprehensive policy of citizen security and peaceful social coexistence in the framework of respect for rights, fundamental freedoms and citizen participation, promoting coexistence and peaceful appropriation of public spaces to reduce crime and eradicate violence, guaranteeing the construction of a democratic society.See more
