What do they do?
They connect and integrate the country through the development of transport systems, and the communications and telecommunications infrastructure.
They promote socio-economic development, national, regional and international integration, trade facilitation, poverty reduction and, above all, the welfare of the citizen. They agree with regional and local governments.
They work tirelessly to give the country efficient systems of roads, railways, air and maritime traffic. They also formulate regional projects that will be connected to the National Dorsal Fiber Optic Network (RDNFO) to take the internet to more locations.
Likewise, through the control bodies and attached institutions, they supervise the correct operation of the terrestrial routes, the air and water routes, and telecommunications.
