The Ministry of Youth, Employment and Citizen Construction is mainly responsible for implementing, under the authority of the Prime Minister, the policy defined by the Head of State in the following areas:

1. to ensure to the youth a full moral, economic and social development;
2. implement a variety of strategies, projects and programs to facilitate access for all, and especially young people, to sustainable and decent jobs;
3. to promote active citizenship oriented towards development.

The articulation of these three sectors is not a matter of chance, it is the result of an intelligent perception of their interrelation.

Youth is a social category whose demographic weight and dynamism in all spheres of economic and social life are well established.
