Monnis International was founded in 1998, after signage of a distributorship agreement with Nissan Motors Co., Ltd., world’s leading manufacturer of automobiles.

Today, they have expanded their operations to cover more diverse markets, e.g. supply of equipment and technology for mining sector, international freight forwarding, civil aviation, design and engineering, construction and maintenance of infrastructure systems, geological research and exploitation of natural resources. At the moment, with over 1,800 staff employed at 15 subsidiaries, the organization is duly recognized as one of the largest companies in the country.

Since inception in 1998, they have introduced a wide spectrum of internationally recognized brand products and are continuing to provide first class services to the Mongolian customers. In addition to offering Nissan brand automobiles, Liebherr, Scania, Kawasaki, Bomag, Striker, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Esco, Duratray and Good Year products for road construction and mining industry, they provide reliable, high quality after sales services.

In accordance with the CSR policy, as the Group’s operation expands, they, too continue to increase donations, focusing mainly on providing funds for improving child and youth health care and education, and supporting members of the sports and arts communities, in enhancing their performance at local and international arenas.

In 2011, the government and the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, of Top 100 entities listed us as the Top-12th company, in 2012, they were nominated as the Entrepreneur of the year, evaluated based on the amount of funds invested domestically.

As one of the largest national companies, they, the MONNIS GROUP, shall maintain the same pace in expanding their activities, and undertake to continue creating more work places, allocate more funds payable to the state budget and carry out their CSR obligations in a responsive manner.
