Rooted in a strong liberal arts tradition, Morningside prepares students to be flexible in thought, open in attitude, and confident in themselves. The Morningside College experience cultivates a passion for life-long learning and a dedication to ethical leadership and civic responsibility.
The college seeks students, faculty and staff representing diverse social, cultural, ethnic, racial and national backgrounds. The college enrolls more than 1,200 full-time students. Although the majority of students hail from Iowa and Nebraska, Morningside draws students from more than 20 states and several foreign countries.
Since 1894, they have been helping students become flexible, confident thinkers in an increasingly fast-paced world.
And with their focus on cultivating a passion for lifelong learning, a dedication to ethical leadership, and a desire for civic responsibility in each of their students, both the U.S. News & World Report and the Princeton Review have ranked us as one of the best liberal arts colleges in the Midwest every year over the past decade.
