Born out of the desire to bolster the post-war Midwestern economy, their company was established with a mission to supply needed research for industry and to encourage programs using regional resources.
Now they are an internationally acclaimed center for applied research and technology development. Their accomplishments range from pioneering efforts in environmental and cancer research to cutting-edge work in drug development and high-precision automation technology.
