Mundubat - "a world" in the Basque language - is a Non-Governmental Organization for Development Cooperation (ONGD).
They are a collective that since 1988 cooperates with women and men, with associations, with communities in the South in their development and social transformation challenges. Their solidarity and ethical commitment - also in the North - wants to contribute to the defense of Human Rights, and to sustainable human development in both hemispheres.
The Mundubat Foundation is governed by statutes that define it as a non-profit organization, non-denominational, and lacking dependence or linking of any kind with parties, unions, churches or other political or religious organizations. Its participatory nature is reflected in the Organization Chart , which establishes that the governing body or Board of Trustees is endorsed and advised by the Board of members and partners. The Board of Trustees ensures that the management of human and financial resources is carried out with due efficacy, rigor and transparency. In turn, the Board of Trustees establishes the Networks and Alliances policy , a fundamental element in our concept of cooperation.
Mundubat was born in 1988 with the name Paz y Tercer Mundo-Hirugarren Mundua ta Bakea.
