About

The Muslim Civic Education Trust (M-CET) was born on June 29, 1999 partly to educate Kenya Muslims to participate vigorously and creatively in the search for a new Republic through the then forthcoming Constitutional talks; and partly to educate a largely non-Muslim Kenya Government on its insensitivity to genuine Muslim disaffection with the system’s social injustices. One such injustice lay in the field of the education of Kenya Muslims.
