Founded in 2012, the Myanmar Health and Development Consortium (MHDC) is a locally managed organization focusing on health and development issues in Myanmar and the Asia Pacific region. MHDC is comprised of local, regional and international expertise in health and development arenas.
MHDC is committed to enhancing the local capacity for sustainability and country ownership in the area of public health and international development assistance.
Aim:
1) Assist in improving social and economic dimensions of the workforce through capacity enhancement
2) Facilitate the use of cutting edge technologies and innovative approaches in health and development programmes
3) Promote private-public partnerships for health and development activities
4) Promote linkages with international and local networks and collaboration partners
5) Improve health and development outcomes in Myanmar and in the region
