About

Association NABAD for development is a civil non-governmental organization; non-profit association founded in 2013 and is working towards sustainable development of individuals and the society. Relying on the principles of equality and equal opportunity and justice, NABAD aims to raise public awareness on citizenship, child protection, democracy , human rights, promote gender equality, empower youth and women, and establish the concept of tolerance, conflict resolution and citizen participation. Nabad now has 14 full- and part-time staff members as well as more than 300 volunteers supporting Nabad to accomplish its vision and mission.

Nabad revolves on developing the Lebanese community in general and the local community in particular, especially by supporting and developing poor families and enhancing the educational, cultural, daily and social situation of the marginalized and underprivileged categories, and provide them with sound management in order to reach a motivating development environment for creativity in order to consolidate, build and develop the capacities of the local community and the civil institutions, and provide the developing services which have a continuous aspect.
