Nasra Public School
About

The Nasra Public School (NPS) was born in 2004 as a social enterprise with a mission to provide affordable quality education for K-12 to boys and girls from low-income families. It has been built on the legacy set down by the Education Trust Nasra Schools (ETNS) system, founded in 1949; using it as inspirational springboard to continue the same mission. NPS’s strength lies in its ability to leverage the experience, expertise, support and synergies necessary to rapidly scale up and take quality schooling to the communities where it matters.

The first NPS campus was established in Garden area of Saddar in 2004, which is one of the highly populated areas of Karachi belonging to middle and lower middle class families. NPS schools are spread over the most densely populated areas of Karachi serving multi-lingual, multi-ethnic and religiously diverse communities. In addition, pro female employment policies contribute to sustainable social impact.

With over 2800+ students and 275+ employees, NPS currently has 14 campuses and continues to expand its reach to meet the growing demand for quality education in a city with over 22 million people. The thrust of the growth strategy focuses on taking NPS into the communities making it truly accessible.
